  • Qualification exam marks: Candidates must score at least 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology in the qualifying examination. For candidates from SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories, the minimum mark requirement is 40%.

NEET 2024 Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET counselling based on NEET 2024 scores for 15% of all AIQ seats in government colleges and 100% for deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The state counselling authorities conduct counselling for the remaining 85% of state quota seats.

The NEET AIQ counselling 2024 process comprises four rounds: rounds 1, 2, mop-up, and stray vacancies. A seat gets allocated according to the choices selected by applicants, the rank in the NEET 2024, and the availability of seats and reservations. NEET UG 2024 counselling process includes registering, choosing courses, and paying the registration fee.

Applicants who qualify as part of the NEET 2024 All India Quota, are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The vacant seats after round two in NEET 2024 counselling in AIQ will be returned to the respective states.
